Furniture Packages
The aim of Salcare is to ensure we support vulnerable individuals of the community. Therefore, at Salcare we offer furniture packages for individuals who are fleeing domestic abuse, individuals who were homeless and individuals who have a low income.
To provide this service, Salcare will work to the individuals small budget to support them where we can with the essential furniture and white goods needed for day to day living.
These could include tested ‘white goods’ like fridges, freezers and washing machines, but also kitchen equipment like microwaves, kettles, toasters and the like as well as the things that everyone home needs including crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, mugs, jugs and jars, tea-towels and the like.
- We also provide pat-tested ‘black goods’ like tv’s, radios, cd-players and occasionally computers
- Our furniture packages also include recycled, pre-loved household furniture – comfy sofas and chairs, dining tables and chairs, beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers, bookcases, desks and things to make a house a home like mirrors, curtains, cushions.
- Tailor made individual furniture packages cost from £150. We require a referral from a Support, Care or Social Worker.
