Salcare Escape, based in Heanor, Derbyshire, is recruiting three part-time posts in its’ Family Support Team, after our officers flew the nest onto new opportunities (and we wish them well working with the Police and Local Authorities no less).
So now we’re looking for three part-time workers, that we’re ready to welcome, train (if necessary) and support in their career working with families. We need:
- IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advocate) working with clients to assess risks, delivering a service appropriate to that level of risk, offering a person-centred service depending on risk levels.
- ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advocate) providing emotional support, information and practical advocacy support to adult survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence supporting DA victims and survivors who have experienced rape or sexual assault, regardless to whether they have reported to the police.
- CIDVA (Children and Young People’s Domestic Violence Advisor) creating safe spaces for children and young people who have experienced Domestic abuse to explore their experiences and feelings, develop their understanding of safe relationships, feeling safe and having opportunities to engage in activities within the community.
Full training provided, salary starts at £20,821 for trainees up to £ 22,627 depending on experience & funding, + 6% pension contribution, fully flexible hybrid working, with some evening and weekend work.
